Heritage Walk - Faces of women

On Friday 7 September, on the occasion of the traditional "Sapore di Sale" festival, the FESTA Association in collaboration with the Ecomuseum of salt and the sea of Cervia, organized a new special edition of heritage walks that has the female world as its main theme.
Starting as usual from the San Michele Tower, the path will take us along the canal port where, thanks to the contribution of some witnesses, we will talk about the life of the women of fishermen and salt workers, discovering how their contribution to the family economy was not marginal.
Heading towards the historic center we will talk about other exceptional women for their time: the trade unionist Maria Goia, the doctor Isotta Gervasi and the writer Grazia Deledda.
With the last stop at the Pascoli schools we will have the opportunity to meet the figures of Lina Sacchetti and Teodolinda Franceschi Pignocchi, both linked to culture and the world of school, and we will visit the historical reconstruction of a school classroom of the early twentieth century set up thanks to the commitment of the teaching staff of the complex and not yet sufficiently valued.
The starting point as for all our appointments will be in front of the entrance to the San Michele Tower (via Evangelisti, 4) at 4.30 pm. Expected duration about h. 1.30. Participation is free.
