Cervia - Torre San Michele

A special walk to discover Cervia's festivals, rhythms and customs. The main popular festivities, the recurrences of the salt workers, the celebrations of the sailors and the saints to whom the two communities were particularly devoted will be told. The route will unfold between the Torre San Michele, the Borgomarina and the eighteenth-century church of Sant’Antonio di Padova in which many ex voto are kept, votive tablets produced following a narrow escape. It will thus be possible to admire these small paintings where the survivors had the circumstances in which they were saved be depicted thanks to the intercession of the Madonna or the saints.
